Live Streams From Outer Space

UrtheCast is bringing HD video streaming to space by placing two cameras, one still film, and one motion picture  on a Russian arm of the International Space Station. The still camera will offerer up a resolution of 18 feet per pixel and the video which is much more exciting to me will give us a 3 feet per pixel 3.25fps 24/7 view of our planet from orbit. While I doubt you will see yourself, you can tag events in the video as well as locations such as your house. The company also plans to be releasing an API for developers so they will have the opportunity to make use of the project. The service is launching on the 28th so be ready and have those browsers standing by. I for one am interested at the opportunity to see what so few have seen before and with such ease to add. The power of technology is once again helping to make the world more accessible to the average person. Will you be watching when this thing goes live?
