
HP has made a claim that it is looking into the situation and that this will not effect more recent devices however the hackers have sought to compete against this claim. Either way it's scary that this could ever happen. I don't even wanna think of the mess should some hacker decide to start blowing up printers in an office building. Just imagine that every printer with internet access via computer or direct network is potentially a bomb waiting to happen. Scary thought if I do say so myself.
