Skype, that wonderful internet calling service that is being eaten alive by the likes of Microsoft, is now offering its sweet video calling coating to the likes of select Android devices. The companies rivals such as Fring have already had this option available on Android as well as on other platforms like Apples iOS. The new update to the application also brings an upgraded user interface to add more functionality. The service allows users to IM, call, and video call other skype users for free or phones for a cheap cost. This update is seen as necessary for skype to continue its dominance of the VOIP market.
I personally do not use skype that often but it could certainly be helpful for some people.
